How do you install Photo Watch Digital?
Photo Watch Digital is a watch face for Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active or Gear watches.- Once installed, long tap on current watch face, and select Photo Watch Digital watch face.
- If you are unable to install Photo Watch Digital, please restart the watch before installation.

How do you get the photos to show up on Photo Watch Digital?
- Send the photos to the watch via Galaxy Wearables (Galaxy Watch) app on the phone. On Android phones, you can also select a photo on device, tap on the share icon, then send to Gear.
- On Photo Watch Digital watch face, select one or more photos to be shown. If more than one photo is selected, the photo can be changed when you tap the watch face. If you have switch on “Watch always on” setting, you will see a new photo every time you raise your watch!
如何上载照片？
用 Galaxy Wearables 手表软件来上载照片。你可以在表盘上选择照片。
如果你选择多过一张照片，ni。如果你在手表上打开了“手表始终开启”设置，那么你将会在每次看手表时看到不同的照片。
How do you customise the watch face?
- You customise the watch face on the watch face itself.
- Tap on watch face to show next photo (if more than one photo are used as background).
- Double tap on the center of watch face to enter Edit mode. You will do the customization in Edit mode.
In Edit mode, tap on the icons on the 4 areas for editing:
Left area:
• adjust text position
• change watch face style
Right area:
• change text font
• change text color
Top area:
• change text size
• toggle 12/24 HR mode
• adjust brightness
Bottom area:
• select photo from watch
• select wallpaper
Double tap center to exit Edit mode and save settings.

左方：选择时间位置和表盘设计
右方：选择字体和颜色
上方：选择字体大小和背景亮度、更换12/24小时显示

The battery life is short after installing. What can I do?
- Lower the brightness in Edit mode will increase battery life.
- Avoid Always on Display (AOD) mode.
在表盘设置上降低背景亮度能提升续航时间。关掉常亮显示（AOD）模式。
When the watch goes into Always on Display (AOD) mode, nothing shows up. What can I do?
- Set the brightness in Edit mode to lowest.
- Lower the brightness of photos (AOD won’t work if the watch face is too bright).
如果在常亮显示（AOD）模式下无法显示照片，怎办？
请在表盘设置上选择最低亮度，或把照片调暗再使用（如果太亮手表会拒绝显示）。
Does it work on Gear S2?
- Yes, but using large photo might freeze the watch face since Gear S2 has less RAM than newer watches.
- Scale the photo resolution to around 360×360 will improve performance.
这表盘支持 Gear S2 吗？
支持，但尝试使用较小分辨率的照片（约360×360）。太大的照片可能会让手表变慢。
Can I use animated GIF as background?
- In our test, older Tizen 2-based watch can support animated GIF but the newer watches running Tizen 3/4 cannot. The animation only changes about 1 frame per second to save battery life.

I selected the photo and it shows up as black, what happened?
- Check to see if the photo is too big? Scale down to around 360×360 size
- Check to see if the photo file name have strange characters?
- Rename the file to use only alphabet and numbers (eg photo1.png).
我的照片无法显示在表盘上，怎么办？
缩小照片（约为360×360大小），或为照片选择较简单的名字（如：photo1.png）。
I selected the photo and it shows up in wrong orientation.
- The photo might be too big for watch to handle. Try to scale down to around 360×360 size
- Send the photo to us to check whether the issue can be fixed

I selected multiple photos, but the background does not changed every time I look at my watch.
- Set the watch Ambient mode to Always On.

Why don’t you use Stylize option to configure the watch face?
- Unfortunately, this option is not available to 3rd party developers at this moment.
After trying all these things, it still does not work. Try the following steps:
- Do you have any photo in your watch?
- Try uninstall and reinstall the app.
- Try switch on “Watch always on” mode. Some features depend on this feature.
- Restart the watch.
- Have you uploaded any photos to your watch via Galaxy Wearables (Samsung Gear) app on your phone?
- If you are using Android phones, the photos must be on device before you can send to Galaxy Wearables (Galaxy Watch) app. You might need to select the photo and save to device.
- Did you remember to enter Edit mode before customization?
- If the digital time disappeared, give this a try: in Edit mode, try tapping on top left corner (change position) or bottom left corner (change watch style) repeatedly. Does the digital time appeared sometimes? If yes, please contact us.
- Select another watch face and select Photo Watch Digital watch face again. This will restart Photo Watch Digital.
- Upgrade you watch firmware. Open the Galaxy Wearables (Galaxy Watch) app on your phone and head to Settings. Once there, go to the About Gear option, and then tap the Update Gear button.
